10th of RAMADAN CITY, Egypt — September 21, 2026 — ECPC Egyptian Company for Prestressed Concrete hosted a joint Egyptian-French delegation at its primary manufacturing plant in 10th of Ramadan City, demonstrating its advanced precast concrete technology, global technical office design and large-scale industrial capacity.
The delegation included key state officials and diplomatic representatives:
- H.E. Eng. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade
- H.E. Eng. Khaled Hashem, Minister of Industry
- H.E. Mr. Éric Chevallier, Ambassador of France to Egypt
- H.E. Eng. Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqia Governorate
The visit took place on the sidelines of a broader field tour designed to assess industrial infrastructure, support local manufacturing expansion, and deepen the economic partnership between Egypt and France. During the site visit, Minister Mohamed Farid Saleh and Ambassador Éric Chevallier discussed joint initiatives to promote French investments in Egypt and reviewed preliminary arrangements for the upcoming Egyptian Investment Forum in France.
The official program opened with an executive orientation by Mr. Ahmed Serry, ECPC Managing Director and briefing delivered by Eng. Vivien Guiraud, ECPC Factory Manager, outlining the factory’s production roadmap, operational standards, and technical portfolio. Delegation members then conducted a guided walkthrough of the factory floor, inspecting heavy production lines, quality testing, and large-scale prestressed and precast concrete components designed for strategic civil, energy, and transport infrastructure projects.
Delegates engaged directly with ECPC’s executive management, engineers, and factory operations teams, addressing technical standards and production capacity. Ministry representatives underscored the government’s commitment to maintaining direct dialogue with the industrial sector, addressing operational needs, and improving the investment climate to support production expansion.
