In a recent feature with the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, ECPC Egyptian Company for Prestressed Concrete Managing Director Mr. Ahmed Serry highlighted the company’s continued efforts to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and expand its regional presence through an Egyptian-French industrial partnership.
With a long-standing role in delivering critical precast concrete components for major infrastructure projects in Egypt, including metro infrastructure, ECPC is building on its industrial capabilities to support greater participation in regional markets, particularly across North Africa and Morocco.
Investing in Manufacturing Capabilities
A key part of ECPC’s growth strategy is continued investment in its facilities, technology, and manufacturing capabilities.
The company is reinvesting approximately €2 million annually in facility modernization, technology integration, and operational upgrades, supporting its ability to meet rigorous international standards and respond to the requirements of regional markets.
Building Workforce and Technical Expertise
Alongside capital investment, ECPC is continuing to develop its workforce and technical capabilities.
The company is working toward scaling its workforce to approximately 1,400 professionals, strengthening local talent development and expanding specialized engineering and manufacturing expertise.
Expanding Regional Markets
ECPC is also focusing on increasing its export activities across Africa and Morocco, leveraging its strategic location, manufacturing capabilities, and accumulated experience in major infrastructure projects.
This regional expansion is intended to contribute to greater local value addition while supporting the generation of foreign currency revenues through increased exports.
