Job Summary:

  1. Oversee and manage the flow of materials (receiving and issuing), ensuring accurate and timely posting on SAP.
  2. Maintain up-to-date and precise inventory records through effective stock control systems.
  3. Plan and supervise cycle counts and physical inventories, investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  4. Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete, damaged, and zero-stock materials and recommend appropriate actions.
  5. Monitor stock levels, consumption patterns, reorder points, safety stock, and minimum and maximum inventory levels in coordination with Planning and Procurement.
  6. Optimize warehouse layout, storage capacity, material flow, and the utilization of material-handling equipment.
  7. Ensure all warehouse operations are properly documented, and records are accurately maintained.
  8. Follow up on daily material deliveries (Sand, Dolomite, Cement, Filler, Solar, Gas Cylinders) in coordination with the Procurement Department
  9. Ensure proper material identification, labelling, preservation, stacking, and segregation, particularly for chemicals and flammable materials.
  10. Manage truck movement within the factory premises, including truck scale operations.
  11. Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, and workers.
  12. Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse-performance reports.
  13. Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, SAP posting accuracy, stock availability, space utilization, order fulfilment, and safety performance.
  14. Support continuous-improvement activities using 5S, Lean, SOPs, root-cause analysis, and visual-management tools.
  15. Ensure full compliance with company HSE policies, procedures, and safe material-handling practices.

Education & Professional Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse and inventory operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  3. Previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing or heavy-industrial environment is strongly preferred.
  4. Good understanding of material planning, reorder points, safety stock, minimum/maximum stock levels, and consumption analysis.
  5. Experience managing multiple material categories, preferably raw materials, consumables, spare parts, safety materials, and finished goods.
  6. Hands-on experience with SAP Materials Management (MM), including goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, physical inventory, and stock reporting.
  7. Good knowledge of warehouse safety, material segregation, safe stacking, and material-handling equipment.
  8. Working knowledge of Lean tools, including 5S, SOPs, visual management, and continuous improvement.
  9. Strong leadership, delegation, coaching, and performance-management skills.
  10. High level of accuracy, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  12. Good command of spoken and written English.
  13. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
